What is Self-Awakening, and how do I find my inner self?

The answers to these questions will also allow you to experience your inner self and have the life you want. You will change from being a victim into becoming a master.

You will move from being passive to being in control and taking responsibility for yourself.

You will become a true master of yourself and move from doing what you have to do, to doing what you want to do.

If you want to awaken your inner self, you are going to have to let go of old baggage and beliefs, and learn how to become truly free.

Self-Awakening will help you open your heart and mind to new possibilities. It will make you find your true power and purpose in life.

What Is Self-Awakening?

 It is a process of self-realization and is achieved only through self-awareness, self-observation, self-introspection, self-reflection, self-examination, self-acceptance, and self-responsibility.

This means waking up to the fact that you are the creator of all that happens in your life.

A process that has taken centuries of scientific and spiritual research to understand which is the essence of real wisdom.

The first step towards this awakening is to understand that we are always the author of our experience, and thus become responsible for it.

Once you realize this it will become clear that everything that has ever happened to you, and that continues to happen in your life is actually happening to you as a character in a fictional story that you created.

So, you are already responsible for whatever is going on in your life, and the author of whatever happens to you is in fact you.

If you do not own your life, it is a life you are living in a borrowed universe.

This is a process of waking up or self-awakening does not just happen. People think that it happens overnight.

But it is a gradual and slow process of self-realization. There are three stages in this process of self-realization:

Stages Of Self Realization

  •  Self-Awareness
  •  Self-Observation
  •   Self-Introspection

1. Self-Awareness

Self-Awareness is the ability to look at your thoughts, feelings, and actions with an objective eye, and see them for what they are.

So, if you analyze the nature of your thoughts and feelings, and how you react to certain situations, you will be able to see what is true and what is untrue.

The more you become aware of the thinking and feeling process that goes on in you, the more aware you become of the stories that you tell yourself about yourself and others.

You will become more empowered, successful, and happier. The first step towards self-awareness is the decision to wake up to the reality of who you are.

2. Self-Observation

Observation means seeing things for what they are, and so looking at your thoughts and feelings from a more detached perspective.

Observation leads to a detachment from a particular emotion or thought, and allows you to observe that emotion or thought as it is without judgment.

Detachment is the first step towards self-acceptance, for it is only when you are no longer attached to the thought or emotion that you realize it as an emotion. You can only accept it when you are no longer tangled to it.

3. Self-Introspection

In the East, the realization is called Self Introspection.

Introspection means sitting inside your thoughts, feelings, and actions and asking yourself what is the nature of those thoughts and feelings, and why you do the things you do.

When you begin to use your intelligence to understand how you think, why you feel, why you react, and the nature of the thoughts, feelings, and actions in your life.

You can begin to understand why you behave the way you behave and the way other people behave.

When you realize that all you are is the author of the thoughts that go on in your mind.

That creates the emotions in your heart, and that controls your behavior, then the person you are is not an illusion.

The person you have created is actually real, and you are responsible for him. You will feel responsible for whatever is going on in your life.

And this responsibility will take you on a journey towards self-realization.

The Self can only observe its behavior. This is known as self-consciousness. When the Self is awake to its behavior, it is called Self Realization.

To achieve awakening in one’s mind one needs to follow the guidelines listed below.

1. Maintain A Positive Mindset

If you have a positive outlook on life then you are more likely to live a peaceful and happy life.

When you are negative about everything you will have a negative mindset and may not want to achieve much.

The biggest problem that most people have is that they are attached to their thoughts.

If you don’t know how to change your mind and thoughts then you can’t change your life.

To avoid getting lost in this vicious cycle of constant negative thoughts it is important that you don’t keep thinking negatively.

Your mind is like a camera that needs to take some pictures of you.

When you are positive, you can easily accept your imperfections, shortcomings, faults, and failures.

To be mentally healthy, you should be able to accept all the things in your life that you can’t change.

If you find it difficult to accept your failures then it will become a continuous source of unhappiness for you.

As a matter of fact, life is very tough, especially for young people. You can’t get what you want in a day or a week. In the same way, you can’t always get your way and that is part of life.

An unhappy person is always thinking about the past or future.

You need to focus on the present moment in order to be happy and peaceful.

A person that doesn’t express his feelings is someone who doesn’t open up to other people.

If you are afraid of other people, your life will be difficult. You need to express your emotions and feelings and be open to other people.

The only way to know what you want in life is to express your thoughts, feelings, and opinions.

So, If you want to achieve something in life then you should try to be truthful.

You can’t be happy unless you share your ideas and views.

The only way to keep your emotions under control is to practice emotional freedom.

You can do this by expressing your emotions without suppressing them. This will make your mind calmer and it will make your life better.

When you practice emotional freedom, you will learn to love others.

You will be able to love yourself and those around you. Consequently, you will practice kindness and express love.

To achieve true freedom, you need to let go of everything in life. You need to get rid of everything that is holding you back.

When you focus on letting go of your problems and your mistakes, you can’t avoid all of them. But you can be less stressed.

You will have clear objectives and this will make you better off and more contented.

You can create your vision by looking at your past and planning your future. You should have a vision for your life and you should be focused on your goals and ambitions

How Self-Awakening Makes You Better

As a way to awaken from what we’ve been taught to believe, I have also compiled a list of ways that experiencing true self-awakening can positively impact your life.

1. You Take Responsibility For Your Actions

This is a crucial part of self-awakening, as we as humans have the capability to do what’s right or wrong. We’re responsible for our own actions, and not those of others.

Think about someone who commits a crime, but did it because they were taught to be a victim and to look to others for their approval.

Also, think about the people who commit crimes because their parents did something wrong, and they just want to make it right by blaming someone else.

Self-awareness and personal responsibility can help to prevent a life of crime.

2. Self-Awakening Helps Become What You Want To Be.

You wake up to the fact that you can be anything you want to be. We’re born into a world that says we should fit into a specific mold.

If we don’t fit into a certain mold, then we’re wrong.

We can’t be happy if we don’t fit into the mold of what’s deemed acceptable.

As a self-awakened person, you’re able to take advantage of the limitless opportunities that are available to you and be yourself, even if you’re not always accepted.

3. It Helps You Realize That Nothing Is Permanent.

You will be able to wake up to the fact that nothing is permanent.

This is a very deep concept that many of us aren’t aware of.

We spend a lot of our life thinking that things will always be the way they are. However, the truth is, that life is just a fleeting illusion.

There is no permanence in anything, from our bodies, our feelings, our relationships, our money, or even our time.

Things just continue to change, until they reach the end of their lifespan.

Life is meant to be experienced, and there’s no need to get attached to anything.

When you fully awaken to this fact, you’ll see that your true self isn’t attached to a job, a relationship, or anything else in your life.

Because everything in life is transient, you will be able to be more open to change in life, and let go of things that no longer fit into your life.

4. You Know The Truth About What Makes You Happy.

For most of us, it’s easier to conform to society’s expectations and make sure everyone is happy.

However, when you finally wake up to the truth, you begin to understand what will really make you happy in life.

Some people may say they’re happy because of their careers, their relationships, their possessions, their social status, or the other things they’ve conformed to.

But, once you awaken, you begin to realize the many things that will make you happy are completely dependent on you.

The only one who will really be happy is you.

5. Self-Awakening Brings You Self-Love.

You begin to realize that you should love yourself because no one else will. Your self-love is the most important aspect of who you are.

If you wake up and don’t like who you are, then you won’t have any self-love.

Your self-love is what helps you to find yourself, find what’s good in your life, and understand the truth of what’s going on in your life.

6. You Wake Up To The Need For Freedom

We have all been told that society expects us to do certain things that make us happy.

When you first awaken to the fact that society won’t always be there to help you, you begin to question what makes you happy.

For some, they need love and companionship, but for others, they may need the freedom to do whatever they want. However, society may want you to get a job.

Benefits Of Self-Awakening

1. Self-Awareness

One of the biggest benefits of self-awakening in life is that it gives you self-awareness of your inner workings that can help you to find insight into yourself and your relationships with others.

You may have had thoughts about yourself over the years but you may not have been aware of why you’re thinking these thoughts or even how you felt about them.

Self-awareness is often a key precursor to self-love and a big part of the benefits of self-awakening is the self-love that comes with it.

Awareness and self-love are not the same things.  However, the latter often comes from being able to acknowledge your flaws.

The reason self-awareness is a big part of awakening is that if you are constantly aware of yourself then it is much harder for your ego to run the show and make you feel like you need to change.

2. Self-Care

Another huge benefit of self-awakening is the ability to do the things in your life that you know will help you.

Even if they are simple things like cleaning your room, taking a shower, or doing some other thing that you know will make you feel better.

This is because your thoughts, emotions, and actions create the state of consciousness that you wake up in.

Your environment and your life, on the other hand, reflect your state of consciousness.

If you have a negative thought, you will experience this in your physical body. Also, when you are in a negative emotional state, you will feel it in your reactions.

But, if you are not taking the steps to create a positive state of mind in your life, then you will experience it in your physical life.

3. Self-Motivation

The benefits of self-motivation in life have been written about in many books, articles, and blogs in the past.

As well as helping you to achieve a lot in life, the self-motivation that comes from the awakening of self is the catalyst for change.

Meaning it empowers you to start taking the first steps towards achieving something. The moment you realize that there is a part of you that wants to achieve something bigger.

Something that will affect your whole life in a positive way, you get a motivation to go out there and start doing that.

You don’t need to be pushed into doing something you don’t want to do because you’ll probably wake up in life in a negative state of mind.

This is why it’s important to wake up with a positive mindset in life because a positive mindset is likely to be what attracts you to what you want.

4. Self-Insight

Self-insight often referred to as self-knowing, is another benefit of self-awakening in life.

As you know yourself more clearly you begin to understand who you are and the way you operate.

You begin to understand yourself the more with each passing moment and this helps you to recognize how to move forward in life.

Moreover, as you know yourself, you also find your triggers. This helps you to understand why you say, do or feel things, and why you react the way you do

So, self-insight helps you to know your own mind, your own heart, and soul and it assists you to learn how to deal with your inner world.

5. Self-Love

Self-love is often associated with self-motivation because you don’t love what you don’t understand.

As you learn who you are, and why you are.  You would definitely start to learn about yourself and that is the start of self-love because you understand who you are and why.

This gives you the courage to let go of people and behaviors that are not who you are or are in some way not working for you.

It can be hard to do this but the benefit of self-love is that it frees you to create the self you really want.

6. Self-Acceptance

Self-acceptance is another benefit of self-awakening in life because you understand the nature of your soul and you get to know yourself better.

You begin to accept who you are as your soul and you understand that you have an equal part in the world.

And to Start accepting yourself for who you are, knowing that you are not perfect but that you are simply doing your best.

Self-acceptance is hard because you are often used to being the observer.  Rather than the being, you are, you can begin to change this mindset as well.

7. Self-Reliance

This is another benefit of self-awakening. Here you begin to realize that you don’t need to rely on other people to get what you want in life.

You also start to grasp that you have everything you need to be happy and that you can create your own happiness in life.

So, in other words, you are relying on other people less and less as you learn to rely on yourself.

Self-reliance is a big part of awakening because you stop looking to other people to be your guides in life. And instead of using other people to do things for you, you learn to do it yourself.

8. Self-Awareness Of Negative Thoughts, Behaviors, And Emotions

The big benefit of self-awareness of negative thoughts, behaviors, and emotions is that it helps you to change them.

The reason that many of you may have negative thoughts about yourself in your life is that you don’t know who you are and the nature of your mind.

The self-awareness that comes from awakening allows you to let go of all the negative self-talk and the negative things you do because you understand who you are and your soul.

So, as you start to understand who you are, your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions begin to change.

And that’s how self-awareness of negative thoughts, behaviors, and emotions gets you to change them.

9. Self-Awareness Of What Works For You And What Doesn’t

You start to see what is right for you and what you don’t necessarily need.

That means you get to know your body, what you really like, and the things you really don’t like.  And it’s this awareness that makes you able to create the life you want.
